This is a close up of the “Tonatiuh” the sun of the Panchito illustration. I’m considering doing a t-shirt with this design. The original design is taken from the centr of the Aztec calender with some modifications, but it is pretty true to the original design.

This is Panchito. It’s an illustration that I did for fun. It’s always been posted with the caption “In all the world, Panchito thought there was no place better to enjoy the morning sun than on the head of ancient kings”
It’s done in illustrator CS6 and is an update from an original pen and ink illustration that I did in 2005. © Copyright 2005,2012 by Ralph Pacheco

First post. This is a character from an unpublished book. She is a little skeleton named Lupita and is one of a series of illustrations that I have done. This is one of my favorites from the series. The artwork is copyright 2005, 2012 by Ralph Pacheco.
